Poor Tinks needs her tail amputating!

We got the call to help, so despite our funds being really low we couldn't say no. This lovely, friendly cat deserved a chance.

This cat had been taken to the local vets with a horrific tail injury. She had clumps of fur missing from her rear end and her tail was broken in half with the end portion of the tail hanging off ( those were the words of the vet! )

She was amazingly affectionate but badly injured. The vets gave her pain meds and antibiotics as they launched a social media campaign to try and find her owner. She wasn't microchipped and was very thin so may have been straying for a while.

A few people contacted the vets but unfortunately this wasn't their cat, so she needed help.

The vets contacted us. We arranged to collect her and her medical notes so she could be treated by Stroud Road Vets in Gloucester. Our funds were very low, but there were no other options for Tinx, so we have decided to fundraise for her treatment.
