Thrown out because he had fleas

George was thrown out of his home because he had fleas.

We couldn't just ignore his situation, so even though we were already full, we stepped in to rescue him before he became a homeless stray. By looking at our other rescues, we know what a terrible life was instore for him and we just couldn't let that happen.

The owner admitted to throwing him out.

We were shocked by the video we were given where his owner admitted to throwing him out of the flat because he had fleas. She didn't want fleas in her place, so she got rid of him.

Instead of doing the sensible thing and treating him for the fleas, which he couldn't prevent, she abandoned him on the streets. She even told a neighbor they could have him and sarcastically wished them good luck in catching him.

Our volunteers were angered by such heartless behavior. George wasn't microchipped or neutered, and he was left to fend for himself. Thankfully, someone reached out to us for help

Now George is under our care. We have treated him for fleas, and we will also get him microchipped and neutered, just like any responsible owner would do. Today is the start of a new life for George, and we're determined to give him the love and care he deserves.

For such an amazing chap, who's life could have ended very differently. We just love a happy ending, but then, don't we all!
