The success of our rescue is driven by the incredible dedication and efforts of our amazing team of volunteers. We bring a wealth of skills and experiences but mostly compassion and empathy.

Volunteering with us can be challenging, but it is also incredibly rewarding!

Volunteering

Our volunteer roles are varied and exciting!

You could be putting up posters and leafleting areas to help locate the owner of a cat in need, or helping to distribute food and litter, collecting donations, or being a drop off point for donations.

If you have the use of a vehicle transporting cats between vet appointments and their foster homes is another crucial task.

A driving license is desirable but not essential.

Cat catching and rescue

Street cats can appear at any time of the day or night, so our volunteers work flexibly. Trapping a stray or feral cat requires understanding, patience, and experience, and we provide full training to support you.

Once we assess the cat's situation, we implement a strategy to help them. This might involve humanely trapping the cat, getting it to a vet, scanning for a microchip, or using a paper collar to ask the cat's owners to contact us.

Help our fundrasing

We are self funding and always need to raise funds in as many creative ways as we can think of!

Assistance is always needed with our fundraising efforts. From jumble sales and raffles to social events, there is always something happening and new things to try!

You can support us by donating cat food and supplies through our Amazon wish list or directly to our bank account to help cover vet treatments, prescription medications, and other essential supplies.

Do you have skills and time that could help us?

Volunteering is one of the greatest gifts you can give and make a real difference.

We may need help building safe and secure cat pens or moving items between locations- or maybe you have experience in fundraising, web design, IT, admin? These are all excellent skills that can help our charity.
