Volunteer for us

The success of our rescue relies on the dedication and efforts of our fantastic team of volunteers.

We are from diverse backgrounds so we all bring our own skill sets and experience to the team. Being a volunteer with us can be hard work but very rewarding.

Volunteering

The role is a varied one. Volunteers can put posters up and leaflet an area in order to try and locate the owner of a cat in need of help.

Food and litter need distributing and we need to collect donations or deliver raffled items. Cats may need transporting between vet appointments and their fosterers.

If you want to volunteer, please still get in touch, a driving licence is desirable.

Cat catching and rescue

Street cats can appear at all different times of the day, so our volunteers do not have a set time when they might work. Trapping a stray or feral cat takes experience and full training will be provided.

Once we have assessed the cat's condition, a strategy is put in place to help the cat. This can be done by humanely trapping the cat, scanning for a microchip or putting a paper collar on the cat, asking the cat's owners to contact us.

Help our fundrasing

We always need help with our fundraising efforts. Jumble sales, raffles and social events are all part of that. We also raise funds in as many ways as we can think of!

We collect donations of cat food and supplies through our amazon wish list. You can also donate directly to our bank account to help us pay for vet treatment, prescription medications and supplies to help our rescue do its work.

Volunteer your skills

You may have skills that we desperately need. If so, a gift of your time would be fabulous and much appreciated.

We may need help building safe secure cat pens or moving items between locations. Maybe you have fundraising or design experience?
